Temple Sim 2005
Much to the surprise of this guy, the cyber Owls have an excellent fan base, packing the Linc. All three announcers predict the Terps in an easy one, and Q jack city gets singled out for having a good season. MD receives and takes a touch back in the rain. On Lance Ball's first run he picked up 24. His second was a loss of 1. Hollenbach hit Vernon Davis for an 8 yard gain. 3rd and three is a gain down to the 25 by Ricardo Dickerson. First down results in a loss of 2 to Ball. On second he picks up 3. 3rd and 9 from the 23 and Hollenbach is sacked. Ennis on to attempt the 42 yarder and, and, and it is gout! 3-0 MD. Temple picks up 11 on their first play. ON 3rd and inches from the 41, Temple runs the HB delay out of the shotgun for first down. That looked familiar. A short pass play gets them out near mid field. Dq'well made a huge sack on third down to force Temple to punt it away. MD takes over at the 12. Hey diddle diddle Lance Ball up the middle for 2. A pass to Dickerson out of the backfield for a loss of one brings up 3rd and 9. Hollenbach hit Jo Jo across the middle and he was popped. Unlike the real Jo Jo Walker the Cyber version was unable to hold on. Podlesh punted away. Temple takes over at the 45. Gain of 7on first down across mid field to the 48. 3rd and 3 results in gain of two thanks to a great tackle by Milton Harris. MD takes the fair catch at the 10. Hollenbach hit Dickerson out of the backfield for 11. Fenner made a nice catch in traffic for another first down. A Hollenbach keeper resulted in a loss of three on first down. Sam hit Dan Melendez for an 8 yard gain. Hollenbach hit Ball out of the backfield, but he stepped out for another loss. Podlesh again on to punt and Temple takes a fair catch at the 14 with 2:36 to go in the half. Jeremy Navarre made a sack for force 3rd and 12, and Temple converts out to the 29. Temple is not afraid to take a shot down field every now again, but thus far they have all been incomplete. Temple out to the 48. On first down Gerrick McPhereson made a nice step in front move to pick off the pass. MD takes over at their own 46. Derrick Fenner made an amazing catch in traffic down to the 17. Hollenbach sacked. Guy came in untouched. Ball gains 8 on second. 3rd and 8 with 1 minute to go. Ball gets the call has blockers picks up the first and is taken down at the 1. Hollenbach faked right, throws left and the pass is deflected, and intercepted. He could go all the way, and does go all the way for a 99 yard int return. First down pitch to ball, and it appears MD is ok with running out the clock. Ball does pick up a first with 2 seconds left, and the Terps call a TO. Hollenbach sacked to end the half. UG-A-LEE!! MD to kick off to start the half and Temple returns it to the 24. Two plays and Temple is out to mid field. Something sketchy is going on with the old PC. Let me fill you in on what was missed. Basically Temple looked like USC on the opening drive of the half, and finished the drive with a TD pass to the corner of the end zone. MD receives the kickoff. First play Hollenbach is sacked. You are now back up to speed. 2nd and 17 on the MD 14 and Miller dropped a short pass. This is getting really bad. Hollenbach throws short of a 1 yard gain. Can you say what is going on here? Podlesh on to punt again. Temple takes over on the 32. Jackson eats up the HB pitch. 3rd and 6 (can you say get your keys out?) Jack Griffin gets the sack. Temple to punt away. Jo Jo returns it two yards to the 26. Jo Jo then drops a sure first down. Hollenbach keeper for a gain of 7. Ball bust through the line for a first down. When your in trouble, who you gonna call. VD! First down after a nice catch and run. Fenner then makes a nice catch for a gain of 9. VD again with a short reception for the first down. MD feels the need to shake things up and calls a HB pass, back to Hollenbach for the first. He then proceeds to cough it up. Temple returns it down to the 10 thanks to the hustle by Jo Jo a TD was saved. End of three. Well that tackle Jo Jo made didn't really matter as Temple pounded it in for 6. XP good. Josh Wilson brings it out to the 22. Lance Ball makes a big catch and run to bring up 3rd and 1. Dickerson pounds it up the middle to move the chains. No sense of urgency out of these boys as time continues to tick away. 3rd and 11 Hollenbach hits Fenner for a big gain down to the 36. 3rd and 11complete to Fenner who takes it to the barn. Fridge calls for two. Here we go. Conversion good to Derek Miller with 2:47 to go. 21-11. On sider coming up and Temple returns it to the 35. Hand off for 12. Temple down to the 15, 3rd and 2stoped short thanks to Jeremy Navarre. 33 yard fg attempt is good. 24-11 with 1:40 left. Can you say we need to return this baby? Well the 24 isn't so bad. 1:35 remaining. Pass complete to Fenner and he gets out after getting the first. However, Mr. Fenner decides now is the perfect time to show off and gets a 15 yard penalty. 1st and 25 now. Two incompletions make it 3rd and 25. Jo Jo picks up 11 on a slant. 4th and 14, and Sam is sacked. Temple needs to only run out the last minute of this one. MD takes it's last TO. 2nd and 13. Temple picks up the first down, and that should do it. Well J. it turns out that cyber biology degree is worthless after all!!!
