No Ill:

For this game, I am looking for a typical Maryland start, slow.  But I think the revenge factor will be too much and after keeping it respectable in the first half, the Terps will pull away and win this one 31-14.

Temple:

I have no respect for Temple football, but this won’t be as big of a blow out as it should because the Fridge will want to minimize injury potential, and the always dangerous look ahead factor.  I think the Terps will roll from the beginning to end and win this one 47-6.

WV:

This is going to be a lot tougher than in past years.  WVU is going to be more ready for this game than any other game this year.  They hate us and this is there BCS bid right here.  It is going to be tough, but it seems like whenever a team owns another team like we do against WVU funny things happen and Maryland will continue to dominate the hoopies.  In what will be a memorable game, Terps will prevail 27-21.

Duke:

Though Duke is improving, lets face it, this is Duke Football.  Maryland will again win easily but the score will be closer than most would have thought since the Terps will probably take this one lightly (rightfully so).  I am going with the Terps 42-14.

Ga Tech:

In another revenge game, I think the terps will have little trouble with Georgia Tech.  The players will be fired up and riding the momentum from there 4-0 start and will carry that to 5-0 with a 27-10 win over Tech (the only “Tech” in the ACC).

NC State:

Much like WVU we just can’t seem to lose to these guys if we try.   The fact that Phillip is gone doesn’t help the Pack since Md seems to be able to handle some of the best running attacks in the nation.  Byrd will be hoping for this one and the Terps will not disappoint.  This will be a nationally televised game and the Terps will pull it out in front of America and win this one in a close one 28-24.

Clemson:

The Terps will be going into Death Valley 6-0 and probably ranked somewhere near the top 10.   The Tigers though will be tough and by this point in the season gelling (like a felon).  They have a lot to prove to the Terps and have played some tough games at home in the last few years, very well (see FSU last year).  I think the Terps are going to be in over there heads.  The looking forward to FSU factor and the solid home field advantage will be too much for Maryland and they are going to suffer there first “L” of the year.  The final will be Clemson 27, Md 21.

FSU:

For as much as we own WVU and NC State, the same goes for FSU and us.  We just can’t seem to beat these guys and we can’t catch any breaks either.  This FSU team is pretty strong and they will be more than happy to put up a W in CP to show off to the BCS committee.  Though College Park will be up for this game and the atmosphere is going to be awesome, FSU is going to pull out of this one with a 37-14 win.

UVA:

I have a very bad feeling about this game.  UVA has gotten very tough over the last few years and I think going down there will be difficult.  It will also be difficult seeing all those ties in the stands celebrating.  Once again though the Fridge is going to fail to win in Charlottesville and the Terps are going to have there first 3 game losing streak in the Fridge’s history (however there will not be one person in the planet calling for a coaching change).  UVA is going to take this one 32-25.

VA Tech:

I have no respect for Va Tech and I think we will see why after this game.  Though the Hookies will think they are up for this game they are going to find out how far Md football has come since the Michael Vick years.  This is going to be a nice win for the Terps on National TV and will snap the 3 game losing streak.  Maryland will win this one 31-21.

Wake:

Maryland will be well rested for this one and Wake will have all but given up on a bowl bid by this point.  The Terps will roll 42-21.

Overall:

This will give the Terps a 8-3 record.  The conference will look as follows:

Miami  8-0

FSU  7-1

UVA  5-3

Maryland  5-3

Clemson  5-3

NC State  4-4

Va Tech 4-4

Ga Tech 3-5

Wake 2-6

UNC 1-7

Duke 0-8
