Wake at MD 2006 EA Sim Well after the debacle at Dook, both cyber and real, MD gets to host Wake Forrest. Dickie V gives the edge to Wake. After some quick up and down action, NCM gets an and one to tie the game at 7. Comcast is rocking. Eric Williams gets NCM on a miss match and takes advantage. 11-7 with 10 to go. McCray for to cut it to 11-10. McCray cans two Ft's for a 12-11 lead. DJ picks up a foul trying to help Gist (starting for Jail Bird Garrison). A Gray 3 gives Wake a 17-14 lead, that is short lived thanks to a NCM 3. Ibekwe draws a second foul on Visser, and misses both. Our first subs check in, MJ for MD, and Ellis and Cameron for Wake. MD takes a 21-20 lead and a TO for Wake. An Ibekwe block starts a fast break that results in two made FT's for NCM. Wake takes the 26-25 lead. A DJ dunk gives the Terps a 29-26 lead. Bowers checks in for Gist, and McCray, and Brown for MD. NCM gets a nice bounce to put the Terps up 31-30. McCray forced a five second call with 3 mins to go. Ellis cuts the lead to one with a short jumper in the lane. an NCM steal leads to a Wilbo dunk. A back door cut for NCM along the baseline leads to an easy bucket. Dukes gets inside and is fouled as the bucket is good. Ensuing FT is good, tie game. Turnover MD. Turnover Wake. 20 seconds to go in the half. Turnover MD, missed shot Wake, Parish Brown's Desperation 3 at the buzzer no good. 37-all at the half. Gray makes 1 of 2 for a one point lead. DJ is fouled by Eric Williams, and converts both. McCray strips Gray and gets a lay up. NCM hits a tough hook shot as the shot clock was running down. A WIDE OPEN Gray nails a three. 43-41 MD. Gist gets open inside for an easy bucket. Visser backed Ibekwe down for an easy dunk. Gray nails another 3 to cut it 47-46. Williams blocks Ibekwe's offering, and Williams sets up camp inside and converts easily over Ibekwe. McCray for 3, good. Two straight Gray lay-up, give Wake a 52-50 lead. McCray for 3 again, good. McCray to the line, makes one of two. Gray foul line jumper good. Ibekwe over Williams or two. Williams over Ibekwe for two. McCray baseline jumper good. Gray into Williams good. 58 all 6 to go. Visser nails the short jumper to give Wake the lead. McCray into NCM who cleaned up his own miss for a lay-up. Williams good. NCM for 3. Md by 1. Gist gets matched up on Gray and dunks it on him. Gray gets fouled by NCM and makes the bucket and the FT. 65 all. MD turns it over, Dukes gets the bucket. Ibekwe get a tap in. Dukes to the line, makes one. McCray get a lay-up on the break out. Gray for 3. a McCray shot in the lane ties it at 71. McCray 3 to put MD up 1. Gist for two 76-75 MD with 2 to go. DJ misses a three at the buzzer. Gray is fouled and makes both. Wake 77-76 with 1:19 to go. Turn over MD, Lay up Wake. Turnover MD, Gray forces a shot, rebound MD, and an easy bucket inside to cut it to one. 38 seconds to go. Strickland fires as the shot clock runs down, rebound, Williams. MD fouls, one and one, and they miss. Time out MD. 14 to go and throw away the inbound. Williams to the line. Hits the first, and second. Md down 81-78 with 13.7 to go. Brown is fouled as he shoots the three! Missed first. Makes second, makes third quick foul with 1.4. First is good, second no good. TO MD .4 left, inbound and don't get the shot off! Ouch.
