After the shocking real world win against BC, the Terps travel to a sunny match up against FSU. They are calling it a great gridiron match up. I wouldn't go that far. Pregame hype is about Geno Hayes (LB) and Corso says the Noles are going to win big, Cismesa kicks off. Anthony Wiseman returns it from the 4 out to the 25. Place is rocking for a noon game. They try a reverse to Lee-Odai. Loss of three. 2nd and 13, Ball breaks a tackle and picks up 3. 3rd and 10, Turner steps up in the pocket, and his pass to Isaiah Williams is broken up. Baltz to punt. Preston Parker returns it to the 44. 0-0 3:45. Weatherford hands off to Antone Smith for 3 yards. Weatherfords pass on 2nd down goes incomplete. 3rd and 7, Weatherford hits Greg Carr on a slant for a gain of 18. 1st and 10, Pitch to Smith and he picks up 7. MD is going for it, The pass is complete for a short gain, but there is a flag, and it is holding. Penalty declined, and FSU takes over with 0:07 left. Victory formation. Ball game.
Well part of me roots for the Cyber Terps to lose since things seem to be going opposite these days. Inability to take advantage of turnovers ultimately cost them. |
